The Iberdrola League Consolidates its Role as a Platform to Promote Women’s Sailing
The day in Palma began with five round robin matches between the eleven participating teams, which served to define the six classified for the Medal Series. For the first time in the competition, three decisive races were held instead of a single final assault, which increased the excitement and equality.
The Balearia del RCN Palma reached the Medal Series as a clear leader, followed by the Solgreen del RCN Valencia and the CN Arenal, together with the team from CN Vilanova, the RCN Gran Canaria, and the RCMA-RSC. With a fourth place and two seconds in the Medal Races, the Balearic team maintained the lead and took the champion trophy in the Iberdrola League of Palma.
