Blending superyacht sophistication with exceptional ocean-going capability, the new 80-foot model represents a defining milestone for the brand — and a bold statement of intent for the future of luxury sailing.
At a Private View event held at London’s St Katharine Docks, Oyster introduced the 805 alongside a suite of new owner-focused initiatives that redefine modern yacht ownership and bluewater exploration.
The Oyster 805: Where Craftsmanship Meets Innovation
Designed in collaboration with Humphreys Yacht Design, the Oyster 805 sits elegantly between the acclaimed Oyster 745 and the flagship 885 Series II. The yacht introduces a new generation of performance and comfort, featuring larger hull ports, panoramic saloon windows, and customizable interior configurations. Optional upgrades include a private office, day bar, and enhanced connected technologies — all tailored to each owner’s lifestyle.
Built to order with the first hull expected to launch in 2027, the Oyster 805 embodies everything that defines the brand: world-class craftsmanship, strength of construction, and the confidence to explore any ocean with style.

Expanding the World of Oyster: New Experiences for Owners
In addition to the 805’s debut, Oyster announced several initiatives designed to expand the ownership journey and open bluewater cruising to a wider audience:
- The Oyster Explorers Club – Inspired by the legendary Oyster World Rally, this exclusive program offers curated global voyages supported by Oyster’s expert team. From remote island chains to high-latitude adventures, owners can experience true exploration without compromise.
- The Bluewater Academy – A refined onboard training program for both new and experienced sailors. Offering personalized instruction aboard Oyster yachts, the Academy combines practical seamanship, navigation, and real-world passages with small-group or one-to-one learning formats.
- The Oyster 595 Series II – A refreshed evolution of Oyster’s best-selling model, featuring modern styling, larger ports and seascape windows, remastered interiors, and upgraded onboard technology.
Together, these initiatives extend the spirit of the Oyster World Rally, the brand’s iconic global circumnavigation covering 27 destinations and 27,000 nautical miles. The upcoming 2028–29 Rally, departing from Antigua, still has limited availability for participants seeking a fully supported world voyage.
Strengthening Leadership in the Luxury Yacht Market
The launch of the Oyster 805 also coincides with a period of record growth for the company. Following strong financial results for FY 2024/25 and a year of record-breaking sales, Oyster continues to cement its position as a revitalized force in the global yachting industry.
Adding to the momentum, Oyster announced the appointment of Torsten Müller-Ötvös, former CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, as Strategic Advisor. His leadership transformed Rolls-Royce into a modern luxury powerhouse — experience that will now help refine and globalize the Oyster brand.
