09\/14\/2025, Palma de Mallorca<\/strong> \u2013 The Balearia from the Real Club N\u00e1utico de Palma<\/strong> has been proclaimed the winner of the Palma stage of the Iberdrola Women’s Sailing League<\/strong>, after prevailing in three intense Medal Races held in the bay of Palma. The local crew, made up of Susana Bestard, Luc\u00eda Busquets, Irene P\u00e9rez Fontan, Gina Golantonio, and Teresa Bestard, has made a successful debut in the national women’s sailing circuit<\/em>, achieving a triumph that confirms the growth of female talent in Spanish sailing. <\/p>\n

The Iberdrola League Consolidates its Role as a Platform to Promote Women’s Sailing<\/h2>\n

The day in Palma began with five round robin<\/em> matches between the eleven participating teams, which served to define the six classified for the Medal Series<\/strong>. For the first time in the competition, three decisive races were held instead of a single final assault, which increased the excitement and equality. <\/p>\n

The Balearia del RCN Palma<\/strong> reached the Medal Series as a clear leader, followed by the Solgreen del RCN Valencia<\/em> and the CN Arenal<\/em>, together with the team from CN Vilanova<\/em>, the RCN Gran Canaria<\/em>, and the RCMA-RSC<\/em>. With a fourth place and two seconds in the Medal Races, the Balearic team maintained the lead and took the champion trophy in the Iberdrola League of Palma<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The Podium: RCN Palma, RCN Valencia, and CN Arenal<\/h2>\n

The Solgreen of Elena de Tom\u00e1s<\/strong>, representing the RCN Valencia<\/em> and the CN Arenal<\/em>, won the silver medal and continues as one of the favorites in the general classification of the 2025 Iberdrola League<\/strong>. In third position, the CN Arenal<\/strong> finished, with the 420 women’s world champions, Neus Fern\u00e1ndez and Martina Gomila, who climbed two positions in the table. <\/p>\n

A Benchmark Event in the Bay of Palma<\/h2>\n

The Real Club N\u00e1utico de Palma<\/strong>, host for the first time of the competition, organized a high-level event thanks to its experience in the Women\u2019s Cup of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE<\/em>.
