Palma de Mallorca, June 28, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The Superyacht Cup Palma 2025 has closed its 29th edition with a memorable day in which the yacht Rose<\/strong>, a 24-meter Wally, has made history by becoming the first boat to achieve the overall victory of the event three years in a row in the Bay of Palma.<\/p>\n

A Thrilling Final at the Superyacht Cup Palma<\/h3>\n

The last day, celebrated under the name of St. Regis Race Day <\/strong>, began with maximum equality in the overall standings: Cervo<\/strong>, Gelliceaux<\/strong> and Rose<\/strong> arrived tied at four points, promising a final race full of excitement and spectacularity in the waters of Mallorca.<\/p>\n

In Class A<\/strong>, the duel was starred by Cervo, a 39-meter Tripp, and Gelliceaux, a 35-meter Southern Wind designed by Farr. Finally, Gelliceaux<\/strong> won by just over a minute in compensated time, securing the victory of its class. <\/p>\n

Rose: Triple Crown in Class B<\/h3>\n

All eyes were then focused on Class B<\/strong>, where Rose, title defender, competed against the Y Yacht Sveam and a powerful fleet of Baltic 68 Caf\u00e9 Racers: Ganesha<\/strong>, Open Season<\/strong>, Pink Gin Verde<\/strong> and Scorpione Hormar<\/strong>. Although Open Season<\/strong> won three races and took the class victory, neither she nor the other Caf\u00e9 Racers could opt for the absolute title because they are not classified as superyachts. <\/p>\n

After an exciting day, both Gelliceaux and Rose finished with six points and three second places, but Rose took the title for the third consecutive time<\/strong> by competing in a class with a greater number of boats, making history in the Superyacht Cup Palma.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been a phenomenal event and a great day of racing. The whole team is really excited about this third consecutive title. The organization has been excellent and we have enjoyed perfect sailing conditions all week,\u201d commented Ben Potter, captain of Rose.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Show and Competition at the Highest Level<\/h3>\n

The day was held in ideal conditions, with wind from 10 to 16 knots and stern start to complete a course of 23 nautical miles through the bay of Palma. In Class A, the Linnea Aurora<\/strong> shone again winning its second race, although out of the fight for the title due to technical problems at the beginning of the event. <\/p>\n

The event culminated with the awards ceremony in the SYC Regatta Village, sponsored by RSB Rigging Solutions, which celebrated its 20th anniversary as a historical partner of the regatta.<\/p>\n
